Can someone please guide me for System Administrator Account?
Username: Administrator
I believe it is a default admin user account which comes with Appian. I am able to login using the "Administrator" account in all the environment except one, where can I see the configuraiton/setting/credentials for this account?
Any documentation link for it would be a great help.

You'll have to create a new user of type system administrator and access the admin console by logging in as this new user. The default admin account can't access the admin console.

Thanks for the reply, I am accessing the admin console. I am just logging to designer. We deploy application using the "Administrator" account, which seems to be a default system admin account. I cannot find that user in the people tab of designer in other environment where I can login. So it does not seem like the user created from people tab.

If you running an Appian version where the Change Password smart service hasn't been deprecated:
1. Create a process model and drag into the canvas the Change Password Smart Service
2. In the Inputs, for "User" click on the Expression Editor icon and type:
=touser("Administrator")
3. Type a password
4. Run the process
5. Document the password for your team

Hey Eduardo, thanks for the reply.
I was wondering if it is the default user account which comes with Appian? Is there any documentation around it? Are there anymore system account like this?

I checked and could not find the "Change User Password" smart service under Identity Manmagement, we are on 7.7 version, seems like it is not present.
Any other option to change the password from back end/configuration ?

If you really need to reset the password for this account instead of creating a new System Administrator account you can check who the authorized support contact of your company is and ask him to create a ticket for Appian Support to assist you further.
