Hi,
We have found some strange issue which occur while we are upgrading Appian from 7.7 to Appian 7.8. We are using Win2008R2 Standard edition and we have memory 32 GB in which we have set the value of MAX_EXEC_ENGINE_LOAD_METRIC to 200 which worked fine in Appian 7.7 . Currently when we have moved the same engines and same custom.properties and all other configuration to Appian 7.8, we are getting error as below while starting only engines . The observation of RAM during the error is 19GB-Used,13GB-Free .The size of execution engines is nearby 2 GB.
Process-Design 1/1 ERROR Halted new main processes on 3 of 3 servers
Process-Analytics0000 1/1 Okay
Process-Analytics0001 1/1 Okay
Process-Analytics0002 1/1 Okay
Process-Exec00 1/1 ERROR Load metric limit exceeded: 153.399%
Process-Exec01 1/1 ...

Does anybody have any suggestion.

If you have a runtime_ear folder under appian home, ensure that the custom.properties in that location also has the same load metric value

Thanks Abhi, Its already been there in runtime_ear. Do you mean I should keep same property in ear directory as well ? As i remember sometimes its picking up values from ear directory even if we are running Appian with runtime_ear by using ACM.
