I am trying to authenticate a user by using Appian API using the "authenticate" fuunction of "UserService".
To this method, I am passing the password which is hashed (SHA-512) and base64 encoded byte[] using UTF-8 character-set something like that in
forum.appian.com/.../3227

However, I always get the InvalidLoginException even if I pass the correct credentials.
Can someone please help?...

Sathya, there is a specific requirement that user should be asked to enter his credentials while he is submitting his form and system should authenticate this user..only if user credentails are correct, he should be allowed to submit the form...
