Is there any way to update the username of an existing Appian user?
We have an issue where the username has been entered as uppercase, but we are expecting it to be lowercase in rules and processes.

Yes, you can use rename users smart service

Since you can not use the same username (in lowercase) while renaming, you have to change the username ana to a temporary name and rename it back to the desired username in lowercase,e.g., change from JOHN to JOHN.TMP and then change it to john

My team was faced with a similar issue (luckily with just a couple of users) and we had to file a case with cloud support to have them do it.
