hello,
i've try to install Appian 7.9.
Appian start but i got an error about ther search server:
"The search server cannot be reached. Failed to connect to server at [localhost:9300]."

Please start search-server first before starting application server by running <APPIAN_HOME>\\search-server\\bin\\start.bat. Also ensure that you have configure appian-topology.xml file in which search-server port 9300 is mentioned.

Which JBoss version are you using? JBoss 6.3.3 is the only supported version. Did you the edit the topology file generated by configure script in your repository in the directory ear\\suite.ear\\conf\\appian-topology.xml.<yourenv>.

Sorry, I use a 7.0 before and i've never had to start the search server.
it's ok now. Thank a lot, shame on me...
