Hi,
I'm using a axis2 soap web service created in java. It's wsdl doesn't have any authentication for now. I want to add some sort of authentication for this web service such that accessing it's wsdl requires username/password type of authentication.
Please let me know if anyone is doing this already.
Thanks in advance !

Thanks,

Are you using any other frameworks outside of Axis 2? Are you married to using Axis 2 for generating the webservice portions? I would recommend reading up on WS-security and other methods of securing webservices. This may help you, unfortunately there is not a one answer fits all kind of solution.
