Hi,
I am going through the up-gradation from 7.8 to 7.9 version and up-gradation was successful except while clicking on Appian Designer link the design mode not launching properly and getting below stacktrace in the log file and there is no Caused By associated in this log. KDB's and data migrated successfully.. but this error occurred after clicking the design link or /suite/design. Am I missing something here? Any guidance, on how to fix this would be appreciated.

It looks like you are using an outdated version of MySQL. Please see the system requirements page for 7.9 here:
forum.appian.com/.../System_Requirements.html
RDBMS -
MySQL 5.6.22 with the InnoDB default engine is our reference platform, which is shown to provide optimal performance
Please upgrade MySQL then restart the application server.

Actually the issue was because of process design kdb migration.. I removed the migrated process design KDB say pd21.kdb from the new installation and now it is working fine.. for me this kdb should be copied in the new installation so that upgrade happens successfully.. the issue is only with this KDB.. can you suggest what should be done to get work done...?

Can you confirm that pd21.kdb works in the old installation? It is possible that something went wrong during migration and that this kdb needs to be re-migrated.

I tried re-migrating the kdb, issue still persist there. After removal it started working again. Do I need to import system.zip before migrating the kdb..?
