I have a question regariding hostnames. I have a ubuntu 64 running on a virtual client and everytime i power off and power back on the OS and i run the k on the temporary license my FQDN is different. I can't submit this output to the Appian team for a permanent license. They give permanent license based on the FQDN and its different every time. Is there a way to solve this issue?

You could try setting the FQDN in /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts.
I think that, although that's not recommended as a configuration in Ubuntu (you're only supposed to put the hostname in /etc/hostname, not the domain), it'll probably work.
That said, I suspect the licence is granted only to hosts on a set domain for a very good reason...
