I am installing Appian 7.10 using configuration.bat file. Receiving following error when I try to generate encoded password to use in jboss data source configuration.

Is that the complete error? To encode the password, a jar included in the JBoss installation is required. This error may occur if you have not configured the script to look for JBoss in the correct path.

This error occurred because you have not given correct jboss path while encoding the password.

If you give the incorrect JBoss path in the configure.bat file, how do you update it with the correct path?

There is a file named .configure in the configure script directory. You can edit the JBoss path in this file.
