Hello to all,
Is there any reason why the configuration for WebSphere does not mention anything about an HTTP Server?
forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_WebSphere.html
Which HTTP Server is recommended for WebSphere (IIS, Apache or the IBM WebSphere HTTP Server?)
My guess is the IBM WebSphere HTTP Server is recommended but I do not see any documentaiton about this.

Checking
forum.appian.com/.../Installation_Guide.html
, Appian recommends Apache or IIS. AFAIK the webservers embedded in JBoss or WebSphere are not recommended for a real installation.

Hello Stefan,
Are you sure? We are using 7.6 in the specific implementation. In 7.11 IBM WebSphere is not supported at all (at least not yet). I have configured several times Apache HTTP with JBoss in non Appian installations, I think this is also what RedHat recommends. However in a previous installation (non Appian) with IBM WebSphere 5.1 (I know it is ancient) the configuration was done with IBM Http Server. This is what IBM says about the subject

OK, I understand. In this case the integrated Apache should be fine.
