I’m currently on Appian v7.8 and I'm starting to plan my next upgrade for 1s

I’m currently on Appian v7.8 and I'm starting to plan my next upgrade for 1st qtr 2016 and I would like to consider the most current version available for obvious reasons .
With Appian v7.11 or the next release, does Appian have any plans on deprecating the legacy portal pace or any functionality that exist there today in v7.8?

Sounds like you saying I should stay on v7.8 for another year.

I'm aware of this thank you.
My concern here is on the support for application still in the portal space.
We still use the apps portal and have not moved to Tempo.

There was no deprecation of portal announced for 7.11, nor is there a specific time in the future. However, for broad browser support, mobile support, etc and other reasons, I recommend using Tempo.

thank you Myles for the conformation.
So we can expect the same Appian support we have today when we upgrade to next version even if we remain in the portal space.
I'm actively working with the user side to come up with a plan on migrating into Tempo and hopefully the effort will be accepted. Once this happens, my goal is to migration but until then, this is where we live.

Yes, in general same support regarding portal, but please review the release notes for specific details on changes that might affect your deployment.
