We have a cold host as a BCDR backup for our primary Appian host. We rsync all the folders as per the migration guide twice a day. This model has been working for us so far where we switch back and forth between the two hosts. This week when we tried to bring our cold host up, the analytics engine is not starting up.
Initially it complained this when I tried to start K engines.
> cp: cannot stat `/appian/server/process/analytics/pa.kdb': No such file or directory
domain error
> cp: cannot stat `/appian/server/process/analytics/pa.kdb': No such file or directory
domain error
I then copied the contents of `/appian/server/process/analytics from the working host to this host, and now it does not throw this error, but it does not start the Process Analytic engine. We tried resetting by deleting analytics/000n gmw folders, but it still does not work.
What may be wrong here and how can I get it working?
