Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to have two application servers (WebSphere) running the Appian.ear application and both these applications connecting to the same Appian Engines.

If so, what are the required installation steps, things to look for?

I have not seen anything relating to this in the documentation.

Did you read through these areas of the documentation where it is discussed at a high level? This sort of design is usually best done in conjunction with the experts from Appian Professional Services.

Thank you for your quick input. I had started reading on the first URL you mentioned. In general, i was aware of creating a cluster setup for the application servers and creating a cluster JMS topic. I just needed APPIAN specific details on this setup.

we're running appian.ear and serch-server in a websphere cluster. An important thing to look out for is which application data needs to be shared and which has to be local forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_Backup_and_Restoration.html
besides that I think the WAS setup is explained in the manual as well.
