I configured SMTP server and able to get emails. But how can i change the name from Appian to someother.

Example:- i'm getting emails from email address saying Appian <appian-alerts@abc.com> , need to change to something related to our environment like Test environment < appian-alerts@abc.com>

You can specify the following in custom.properties to set the email address and display name -
conf.mailhandler.ntf_sndr_addr=
conf.mailhandler.ntf_sndr_name=
