This is happening a lot with our staff. We get request that their last name are changed. So they want to change it in BPM. What is the best approach for this issue? We usually created a new account with the new name, created an out-of-office with the old name to point to the new name. (Until all processes are "completed") Is there a better way to do this? ...

If you need to change the user name, there's a smart service plug-in that can help you with this requirement. It's called Rename Users Plug-in and it's available for download here in Forum under the Share Components Application - Smart Services - View All Smart Services - Rename Users Plug-in. Place this JAR under <APPIAN_HOME>\\_admin\\plugins, once deployed, a new smart service will be available in the Process Modeler for you to build a model to rename the user.
