We have a situation where we have parallel development occurring against objects on occasion and I am wondering if anyone has a good method for doing comparisons of applications across environments? We have been doing exports from both target environments and then comparing the resultant XML but this throws up differences based on timestamps etc. that makes the job harder than it should be. Ideally we would like to see just the content differences, not differences in config.

Has anyone else discovered an elegant way of doing this?

I have created a smart service using Public Java API, the process model diff. This helped us to exactly pinpoint what is changed between two versions.
