When appian is exposed as synchronous service, an external system with appian cr

When appian is exposed as synchronous service, an external system with appian credentials saved in their system is able to trigger the process with minimum editor access and not initiator access. Is that initiator access sufficient as the external system is unable to trigger with initiator access.

Sorry missed it in above post. Below is the link which says a minimum of initiator rights are required to trigger a model which is published as a service.
