I'm using the LINUX install script - please see attached JPG for terminal thread.
I've performed the 4 - Validation OK and setup the standalone.xml.dev and appian-mysql-ds.xml.dev scripts.
Then I performed 5 - Deploy
I'm getting a fatal error from the Java JRE.
What should I do to check the configuration and resolve this crash?
Thanks, David

Could it be that you run OpenJDK and not Oracle Java? AFAIK only Oracle Java is supported.

Couple thoughts. Do you know for sure if java is working for other applications on this server? what do you get for running 'java -version' from prompt? I've also always used the oracle jdk, not OpenJDK, even on ubuntu ( i know there's no apt package for oracle JDK on ubuntu - which I'm assuming you're running based on the terminal background color), not sure if OpenJDK is supported for Appian

Jim and Stephan - OK will take a look - the Tools - PicketBox encrypt worked - so I was thinking the Java setup was fine - but will see what I have by default in Ubuntu 16.04 - as you say - may need to switch to Oracle Java. Thanks.
