I had installed Appian on my pc (as a server) and it worked correctly till now. (Other users logged in without any problem.)
username: Administrator
password: my own password (had changed the password from admin)
But now all of a sudden we are facing the issue wherein
I cannot login with my Administrator credentials. It says
"The username/password entered is invalid. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive."
Also other users cannot log in to. They also receive the same error.
We are unable to figure out the issue. Any pointers in the direction of help will be welcomed.
Thank you.

Please check the App server logs to get the details around the specific errors and attach the logs here so we can take a look.

Looking at the error lets me think that there could be some issues with your Appian engines, please check out the Engine status by running the diagnostic script checkengine. You might want to take a look at the Engine logs as well to get specific pointers to the Engine issues. Alos loo at this related post and see if it can give you some direction -

Please check out this post -

. Follow the steps described in the last comment and see if it resolves your issues. The step that mentions about restoring to the last good KDB, please make sure that you do it for your problematic Engine (Channels in your case).

My issue has been resolved. Thank you so much for the guidance. :) . The main issue why this happened was abruptly shutting down the system
