I am preparing to migrate from 6.7 to 7.2. The migration did not talk about PS build. The structure between Jboss 5 and 7 seems very different. Is there a guide on how to migrate the PS build?...

Shared Components section (
forum.appian.com/.../components)-
"Libraries and Utilities" - "View all Libraries and Utilities" - PS Build for Appian 7.1 (no changes in 7.2)

Thanks. I saw this component. The Appian Professional Services did the build for our system did some customization. I was hoping not have to go through one by one. to customize the Ant build script

You are going to have to merge your build files - a good diff tool should help out. This should not take more than an hour.

OK, I went through one build properties file.
conf.data.primary.database=appian_710
was not in 6.7, what is the purpose of this and should I change it t0 appian_720, if I am deploying to 7.2
Thanks

This is the name of the jndi name of your primary database. It has to match whatever you named the primary datasource in the *-ds.xml file. You should not have to change it from version to version and for business datasources the jndi name has to remain the same.
