JBoss Admin Console Question

Question

While trying to install JBOSS6.4 for appian the operation mode should be standalone or domain. If it is stand alone how do I see the admin console as I see a an error message that the site cant be reached. but if I navigate via localhost:9990/.../App.html then I see the admin console.Just wanted to know if I can't go through the http://servername:serverport ?

localhost:8080 should work on a default setup. Ensure that you've added a management user to access the admin console.

That said, admin console access isn't required for configuring Appian with JBoss. See the instructions here - forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_JBoss.html
