Unable to encrypt datasource password with picketbox

Question

Hi all, I am trying to install Appian on my local machine and i got an error while trying to encode mysql data source password using the configure script. Following is the error message: ERROR encoding the datasource password: D:\appian\repo\appian\bin\jboss\jboss-eap-6.4\modules\system\layers\base\org\picketbox\main FYI...the sub-folders \org\picketbox\main do not exist in the above path. Is this the root cause for this error? Kindly help me on this.

i installed jboss v6.4 eap and it is required by Appian v16.2. However, i figured out that this issue was because of a wrong jboss location that i had given. Gave the correct path and i am able to get encoded password

Hi shanmukhaprasads, if you have jboss-eap-6.4.0 downloaded, simply unzip it to a folder outside appian installation folder. Give path of this jboss folder when trying to encode mysql data source password instead of giving path of jboss existing within the repo folder in Appian installation folder. Try it out and let me know if it works.
