Questions regarding external to process message type

With reference to all the mail server setup links in product Documentation, we could able to understand that a process model can be triggered using email.
Could someone help us in understanding whether the process can be triggered without setting the inbox in Appian,
Or if not can someone guide how to configure Inbox in Appian.

Sorry, I guess you already did that.
Can try with some message mechanism and Service integrations. Not exactly Inbox but can send an email etc by JMS messaging or making PM as service etc.

hi @Rayudua we are trying to receive Email content or trigger PM using email , we are just wandering can it be done without setting any email client in the appian server box.

We understand that we can communicate using JMS but not sure about how to tring JMS send message using email so that it can be received in the PM via receive JMS activity. Please help
