unable to access design interface

I have installed appian successfully on my computer and for licensing reasons had to change my fqdn and have updated the hosts file , and changed the same in custom.properties and custom.properties.dev file.
Since then unable to access appian using the changed host name.Attached is the server log.
Please help me in proceeding to the further steps in solving this.

Looks like you already have the same address in use by another service, in the log, see: Error initializing endpoint: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind /0.0.0.0:8009
Check if there is another service running on the same port and/or if the last attempt at starting JBOSS was ended completely to free up the ports

my appian was working fine with the same ports before changing the host name.I was able to create a sample application in tempo and designer. The only change that was made since then is the change in host name in the hosts file and the same name is being used in custon.properties and custom.properties.dev file.

Try running in netstat to check that no other service has started while you stopped Appian/JBoss to make the configuration change?
