Search Server Authentication details
maheshk135

Hello,
We are using one plugin in Nagios which tries to find out health status of the search server. However when plugins hits the search server over http, server is asking for Authentication details (username/password). Now we have gone through the configurations and found below userdetails along with encrypted password. Who can provide us actual password of the search server. Is there is any other way to connect to server.
conf.search-server.http.auth.salt=03049de8-de2f-4778-9b70-f6f0ebe38b7c
conf.search-server.http.auth.un=admin
Thanks
Mahesh

This is not the supported approach. Instead, you should monitor the logs to see the status of the search server. In particular, check the "Status" column in search_server_cluster.csv.
