how to enable users.csv file in Appian

I have a task for developing user activity metrics in Appian through LOG Reader Plugin. I am trying to access the user activity data from USERS.CSV file. I am currently not able to access this file.(I'm attaching the a file for reference).I came to know that we need to enable the access for this file from JBoss server. I appreciate, any help in achieving my task.

Is this a distributed environment? If so you could look at setting up shared logs using an NFS.
