Hi,
We're getting the following error while starting JBOSS standalone.sh:
15:17:18,820 ERROR [org.hibernate.tool.hbm2ddl.SchemaExport] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 53) HHH000231: Schema export unsuccessful: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The application must supply JDBC connections
Seems like a datastore issue, but we're not able to figure out the reason.
Let me me know if you need any configuration to look at.
Thanks,
Riccardo

Can you attach the server.log to this thread? Ensure that you purge any sensitive data from the log file before you post it here.

I believe the issue here is that you are using Open JDK.
"java.runtime.name = OpenJDK Runtime Environment"
Per our system requirements, you need to use Oracle Java JDK 1.8.0_x (update 92 or later)
forum.appian.com/.../System_Requirements.html
You can download it from here, depending on your linux distribution:
www.oracle.com/.../jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
That should resolve your issue. Hope this helps!

Hi Alok, we are already installed JDK 1.8.0. On the server there was previous JDK and we installed Appian with the wrong. Where can i change the JDK configuration?

Hi Alok, thanks alot for your support. The configuration of JDK was carried out successfully. However, unfortunately, it occurred the following error: "MSC000001: Failed to start service jboss.deployment.unit."appian-oracle-ds.xml".FIRST_MODULE_USE". I attach server.log.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

This is the cause of the current issue.
20:43:27,364 ERROR [org.jboss.msc.service.fail] (MSC service thread 1-8) MSC000001: Failed to start service jboss.deployment.unit."appian-oracle-ds.xml".FIRST_MODULE_USE: org.jboss.msc.service.StartException in service jboss.deployment.unit."appian-oracle-ds.xml".FIRST_MODULE_USE: JBAS018733: Failed to process phase FIRST_MODULE_USE of deployment "appian-oracle-ds.xml"
...
Caused by: org.jboss.as.server.deployment.DeploymentUnitProcessingException:
...
Caused by: org.jboss.msc.service.DuplicateServiceException: Service jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.PrimaryDataSource is already registered
It looks like you have multiple PrimaryDataSource's configured.
1) How many *.ds.xml files do you have in <JBOSS_HOME>\\standalone\\deployments?
2) How many DataSource elements does that file have?

Thanks for your reply.
In <JBOSS_HOME>\\standalone\\deployments there is only one *-ds.xml file and it contains only one DataSource. However there is a *-ds.xml.failed file, and moving it to another folder, again the following error occurs:
HHH000231: Schema export unsuccessful: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The application must supply JDBC connections
