Performance tuning guide

Can anyone point me in the direction of a comprehensive performance tuning guide for Appian on Apache and JBoss? I'm looking specifically at tuning Apache, JBoss, and Appian independently to perform better. Another issue is that we are running our Appian engines across multiple nodes and we have noticed a decrease in performance as compared to running on a single node. Any insight would be appreciated.

Before distributing across multiple nodes, did you size the environment to determine the resources required? If not, please see forum.appian.com/.../Using_the_Sizing_Script_for_Engine_Capacity_Planning.html and complete the sizing sheet.

The Appian Playbook also contains some tips on performance tuning and testing: forum.appian.com/.../Performance_Testing_Methodology.html that you may find helpful?

Thanks Sally - I believe a detailed sizing exercise was completed by Appian professional services. I will double check. Thanks for the performance tuning tips, will look into it.
