I'm messing around with the copyright in the custom.properties I am unable to get the version number to come up. I can enter it in manually but I'd prefer not to. How are these fields being used if they're commented out? with the current settings in the screen shot, all that shows is (C)2003-2017 Company Name

There are defaults within Appian. The commented out lines are the example of how to change it. If you enable them and put the desired values, they should be picked up.
