16.3 Hotfix D fix for AN-49763 - Plugin Timeouts

Our on premise setup of Appian was effected by the plugins timing out. With the fix that causes the plugins timing out to be dramatically reduced, I am curious to know what actually was changed in the files to resolve this.

A little background on the setup. Penn Treaty has been using Appian since version 5.x. During this time there were issues due to loss of connection to our SQL servers overnight. If there was not regular restart of the Jboss service then Appian wasn't able to connect to the SQL servers. A daily Jboss was setup for 6:30 AM in order to resolve the issues that were occurring. These restarts may not be needed anymore but out of caution we have kept this daily restart of Jboss.

When the plugins started timing out in version 7.9 we built a workflow that would notify us if any plugin timed out in the morning restart by sending an email. If this happened we would ...

The fix that was implemented in Hotfix D would not really help us with this since Jboss will no longer start if a plugin times out. Our users will not be able do any work in the morning until someone is able to go in an start the service up manually. Jboss not starting will also not allow the workflow we built to notify us to start.

If someone could provide details on what was included in the fix for AN-49763, that would be much appreciated.
