I am not able to find quick app in Appian version 22.4.Kindly help me to locate it.
your book starts with Quick app although i know it covers 21v .
Finding it difficult to follow as 22.4 v doesn't have Quick app. Kindly suggest.

Quick Apps are part of 22.4. As described in the book, you need to be a member of the group "Quick App Creators".
