Community Edition not provisioned

I requested access to the Community Edition at 7:35am this morning and as of almost noon I still haven't been given any access.  Is this normal?

  • Thanks for the response.  Good to know it is not just me.  They sent me an email again at 1:30pm from the support email that said "We have received your request for an Appian Community Edition environment, but are currently experiencing high request volumes, so fulfillment will be delayed. Once an environment becomes available, you will receive an email with your log-in details."  So I guess they are having a rough day over there.

    I had to request a fresh one a week or so ago and there was a bug where my request would just disappear (i.e. refreshing the page would just show the "request" button again as if i'd never clicked it).

    I emailed them and they had that issue taken care of within an hour or so.

    Also: watch out for the auto-delete timeout! they don't mess around!  I lost my original one, wherein i'd built a small but fully-branded Portal proof-of-concept for my company... that was a big ouch.
