I couldnt save the details into db while i click submit details in the following portal.But when i try to submit via process model debug mode or record action.Its working fine

AFAIK, you need to launch the process model to write the data in the DB, using startProcess(). I think this is the limitation of the portals.For more info, please go through this, docs.appian.com/.../portals-data.html
