I am using the New Appian Community Edition Beta.
I am using Google Chrome Version 122.0.6261.112 (Official Build) (64-bit).
I am receiving a System Error on the "Add Page" and "Edit Page" interfaces when attempting to change the Type to Record List.
Verified the issues occurs across multiple applications in the Community Edition Beta.
Verified this has occurred for multiple days and at different times during the day.
No issue occurs when changing Type to Action, Interface, or Report. Only selecting the Type as Record List.
On choosing Record List as the Type for a Site's Page:
Loading Bar for system will show at top of the screen.
Loading Bar fills quickly to ~50% then slows
Loading Bar fills slowly to ~70% then become substantially slower
Loading Bar maxs out at ~90% then throws the noted system error.
E-mailed Appian Community Edition Support to notify of the technical issue and was referred to discussion posts, the academy courses, and the documentation as they are "unable to help with project-specific issues".

EDIT: Just as an update, I was able to replicate it
It definitely seems to be a product bug. I have created a support case.
As a workaround, the Read-only Grid component provides the same functionality as a record list. So you could create an interface that includes a record-backed grid and use that as a site page.
Thank you for verifying the bug and opening a support case. The Read-only Grid component was a good substitute as well. I was working through the Developer Learning Path when I encountered this bug and it is very helpful to know alternatives. This may create a barrier to some new learners when they hit "Appian Step-by-Step #6" in the online course "Sites: Engage Logged-In Users".

Hey idas7955 thanks for reporting. This bug will be presenting whenever trying to select a record list as a site page, so that is to be expected.The bug is still being researched by our engineering department. I will update this thread when we have a fix!
