Reply getting marked as SPAM

Hi,

I've noticed that whenever I reply, my responses often go for approval and don't appear in the thread until they're approved by a moderator. Why is this happening? Is there a new policy or something specific I should keep in mind?

This has happened 4-5 times now. Could someone clarify if there's anything I should be aware of when replying?

Thanks

it's happened to some of my replies as well.  it has to do with your volume of posts per amount of time, as well as how link-heavy your comments are (if any).  and (fwiw) it's not a very good system - too many false positives and still let obvious spam accounts / spam posts slip through sometimes.

the "account will be removed" thing is a toothless warning - the actual human moderators here read and approve the appeal requests and wouldn't ban an actual user.  the issue is stricly with the sloppy automated detection, which they have very little control over as far as i've heard.

It happens a lot.....the moment you add a comment in another language, source code or just answer more than 4 or 5 threads, it's easy for your account to be marked as spam.
