Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. As a part of the upgrade, Appian Community is currently in read-only mode, and user registration is disabled until August 3. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!

The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.

Process Model stuck loading / 504 Gateway Time-out after July 11th maintenance (Community Edition, v26.6)

Certified Associate Developer

Since Saturday, July 11th's scheduled maintenance window (originally expected to last "several hours"), I'm still unable to open any Process Model in my Community Edition environment — clicking a process model shows a continuous "Loading..." tab followed by a 504 Gateway Time-out error (URL pattern: /suite/process/startdesigner.none?idToOpen=...).

I tried creating a brand-new Process Model, and even that fails the same way, and I also created an entirely new application from scratch and tried opening a fresh process model in it, which also hangs and 504s — so this doesn't appear to be specific to my app or objects.

The environment is on Appian Version 26.6, Appian Cloud hosting, and the maintenance banner is still showing as of today (July 13th, several days past the original "several hours" estimate). Is this a known ongoing side-effect of the maintenance/upgrade, and is there an ETA for resolution? Happy to share screenshots if useful.
