How to delete multiple objects

We have found old code in our production environment.  What is the best way to do a mass delete of objects?

At this time we are unable to click more than 1 Rule and still have the Delete button available in /design.  CDT's, however, can have multiple clicked and the Delete button appears.

Please advise.

  • To clarify a couple concerns that have been raised here:
    1) It is *not* an Appian best practice to "never delete objects". It is fine to delete objects if they are no longer needed. Individual organizations may have their own internal guidance around deleting, and their own reasons for avoiding deletion. Many designers may well prefer to deprecate, rather than delete, objects. However, from an Appian perspective, the "Delete" button is there for a reason :)
    2) Deleting an object in one environment will *not* delete it from any other environments.
