Best practice for SOAP service call

Some of the practices you can follow:
-Create a constant for the wsdl url
- For timeout scenarios ,configure an exception on the smart service.Take respective action (Send Mail,retry etc) as reqired.
-Call webserive smart services creates CDT's automatically,do not import those CDT's while deploying to other enviornments.

But as per Appian Best practices- Always include data types created from WSDLs in the application created in the development environment before exporting it.
