Question about task completion

OK - first question to the user community, here goes.
An Event has taken place, and Attendance Task has been completed. The user had forgotten to add a 'Walk-In' customer.
The system will not let us add the customer because the Attendance task has been completed.
We need to get this customer added to the event - so how is this done?

Hi. There is a concept of a "quick task" or an "ad-hoc action" in Appian. This quick task is like a task, except that it can be actioned at any time until the task is kept alive. Even after completing the task once, a quick task stays alive, until an exception condition (that has to be configured) is met or the process itself ends. This is one way of addressing your use case.
