Executing a process/task by a URL?

Scott, you need to enable single sign-on in order to do silent authentication.

Once you've successfully configured silent authentication, you should be able to achieve your required action.

Thanks Sathya! Once enabled... Do you have a example of a URL what it would look like that would authenticate and run a Process/Task?

Scott, the SSO works on the basis of trusted relationship. So the agent should take care of the authentication automatically for you. The URL will remain the same. Any URL to tasks, action, records or report will directly take you to the target page without asking the user to log-in.

so for example http://<HOST.DOMAIN>/suite/task/1122 would take user straight to task 1122 if we had this setup?

Hi Sathya, we are on release 7.2 at this time. Do you know if "Remember Me" authentication is supported in this release? I did not see it in the archived documentation. Thanks

Remember Me is not the same as SSO for Sathya's suggestions. Remember Me functionality which my also be an option for your use case became available beginning in Appian 7.4.
