Appian Direct Deploy Rollback - Best Practices

Hi. We need more precise information regarding advice and best practices for doing a rollback / reverting a direct deploy. We intend to do a big deploy which restructures a lot of tables, processes, rule expressions and interfaces. We want to have a rollback plan if anything goes wrong, but i dont find any option in the deploy panel for rollbacks or reverts.

any info is welcomed.

You will need to figure out a way to get an app export of just your core app components, excluding user-generated files.  I'm a little unclear how they could have been added to your app package in the first place, since as far as I know they'd need to be added manually.

You may need to resort to creating a fresh app package and only including the app's core components in it (and/or adding them to that new app while searching by object type from the original package).

I don't know why you would need to import 5 gigs of user-generated files.  Generally these should be excluded from any sort of import, unless i'm severely misunderstanding your use case.
