Is xlsm file type supported in Appian?

Is xlsm file type suported in Appian? Whenever I am trying to open an xlsm fikle, its showing me this error(attached).

It might be that Windows has problems with the chars "[" and "]". The file type itself is not the problem. Could upload a XLSM file with a very simple name in Appian and try to open that one.
