Experience with using Appian for resource planning?

Our client asked us if there are clients who use Appian for ressource planning.

I took a look at Appian App Market but could not find solutions fitting to this description. The client is looking for a solution where they can define resource availability ad optimize resource usage by planning optimal routes.

Please let me know in case there are examples or reusable functionality in this area.

ArchiTECH Solutions has developed an Onboarding and Personnel Administration application that contains modules specifically for resource allocation, resource skills (for placement assistance), and resource availability. Our reporting capabilities also include Resource availability metrics for individuals as well as the company as a whole. @gernott - Incessant Technologies has developed a solution called Digital Business Operations Suite that contains Resource utilization feature with extra capabilities of on-boarding, time tracking.
