Performance of mobile in countries with poor communication infrastructure

Hello Everybody,

Yesterday we had a demo with a Peruvian prospect and he question us about the usability and perfomance of the mobile application in countries with low communication infrastructure like Perú. Our answer was that the Appian mobile app it's native for all devices and that helps because it takes advantage of the device hardware.

Does anybody has experinced the Appian app in this context of usability and perfomance of the mobile application in countries with low communication infrastructure?

Best Regards...

  • Ayax, you're absolutely right that the fact that the Appian apps are native to each mobile platform improves both the user experience and performance of the apps. Native apps load and render faster than non-native apps, and users on each platform can have an experience that they are familiar with for their particular platform.

Furthermore, having native Appian apps paves the way for future features that allow better responsiveness and fuller functionality even with a degraded network connectivity.
