Data and Records
Service Backed Records

Hi All,
I am using a service backed records for which the service is takes around 25 seconds to give the response. I am getting an error as "Could not display record".
I am able to fetch the data subset for the service back record through expression rule.
Is there any timeout for records ?

The timeout is probably not specific for records, but rather to whatever your source ultimately is (database query, web service query, etc.) Perhaps you could start reducing the batch size for your record expression and that way try to find which part is timing out.

Hi alok, try adding index on database field(s) which are used in logicalFilters of the query. Thanks!

@carloss : I am able to run the service query as an expression rule independently but when I integrate this onto the record I am getting error as "Could not display record".
Secondly, I have already added filters to the record expression to fetch only one record at a time depending on the search criteria.

This may cause by following error:
1. Not a correct data subset returns for record list.
2. rp!id is not working due to not an ID in CDT
Try with rf! if possible please share the code to dig more.
