Doubt in query rule

Question

Hi Guys I am having a doubt that query rule will return only CDT? 
 because in documentation it is mentioned that it returns CDT and Datasubset. 
 But in designer video they mention that it will return only CDT. can anyone please let me know the answer

Hi balaganapathy, 
When a paging parameter is specified in a query rule, a value of type DataSubset is returned. 
Otherwise query rule returns CDT.

Hi annap, 
While creating queryrule we cant define paging info but when your calling a query rule if you want to restrict your result set length then you can specify paging info.
