Is there a way to save the value while calling a!startProcessLink() function?

Hello All, 
 
 I have a requirement where I'm trying to open another interface from the current interface. To achieve this functionality I'm using a!startProcessLink() function. The issue happening here is regarding the value which need to be save while clicking the link. As saveInto or any similar facility is not available in a!startProcessLink() function, Is there a way through which I can save the values inside required variables when user clicks the link?

You could pass the value(s) you want to save into the process as processParameters. Then they'll be available in process to save.

I think the only way we have is processParameters to pass the value into Process.
