Fetching mySQL datetime value "0000-00-00 00:00:00" showing error in Appian

I am fetching a datetime field (which is Date & Time field in Appian) from a table in database. However, when the value of the field is "0000-00-00 00:00:00" in database, Appian throwing an error. Please can anyone help me how to solve this issue?

  • That value does not appear to be supported for datetime in Appian. It is also not a valid value for datetime in MySQL when strict mode is enabled. A possible workaround is to cleanup the data with "0000-00-00 00:00:00" datetime values and setting those datetime fields to NULL instead. You may need to update your database table schema to allow null for that field. Once you do that, Appian should be able to retrieve that record with a NULL datetime value.
