If the Record type is created based on the DATA STORE ENTITY, then, how the record Dashboard expression can be used to update the value back to the database?...

@bharat Using fn!runprocess replicates your scenario. Through this function you can asynchronously trigger a sub-process which performs the required work, but AFAIK its not cloud compatible which should be kept in mind.
