Hi All,
In third party database, we have a column (number datatype) which can have more than 10 digit value. How to display the value on Interface.
We have tried mapping type = "xsd:integer" and "xsd:long" and "xsd:int" in XSD
xsd:int gives Numeric overflow error, on changing it to xsd:integer / xsd:long, it retrieves blank value on query entity but there is value in DB (which has 14 digits)
How to retrieve the values having more than 10 digit value?
Any advice.
Thanks and Regards,Diksha

Is it necessary to retrieve that in integer? Can you try that as text in XSD?
Have you tried forcing it to pull the value as a decimal? The decimal data type in Appian can hold a bit larger of a number than Integer. If that doesn't work, the only other solution for this sort of thing that I've seen has been to pull the value back as a string.
In database, that column is Number, that's why we not able to try as text in XSD
We have tried pulling the value as decimal, that works. But we have a concern here. Since the column can allow upto 20 digits value as per the database column description, will changing it to decimal works fine for values upto 20 digits? Will decimal type allow 20 digits value?
